FESTIVAL VIBES
Right guys, it's finally festival season! This literally makes me so happy, festivals are my happy place. Surrounded by all your friends in a field, drinking cider and listening to music. Just a chance to let your hair down and have a great time with great people, sun is shining! (well this is England so we're lucky if we get any sun) Anyway, I thought i'd do a post about festivals, I went to a festival this weekend and any chance I get to paint my face and cover it with glitter gets me so exited!
So i thought i'd show you how i had my makeup and what outfits i wore, i think festival fashion and makeup is my absolute favourite because it's a chance for you to be creative and try new things! You don't have to hold back, you can be as bold and as crazy as you'd like! In my case i just get different coloured glitters and cover myself in them, one of the perks of doing this is it makes your makeup last longer and you can hide any imperfections or bags under your eyes! Glitter solves all of life's problems!
So on the first day this was my makeup, I tried to do a half cut crease and a bit of a smokey eye. For this I used the No.7 ultimate eyeshadow palette. Is it just me, or does anyone else find that once they start doing something different to their makeup it then looks weird when you don't do it? This is what I found when I started doing little cat eyes in the corner of my eyes (I think that's what they're called haha) I always do a winged eyeliner and a cat eye! I think it looks so pretty but when I don't do it I find it looks weird haha!
I used a Barry M eye glitter underneath my eyes in a rose gold colour (the picture doesn't really do it justice you cant see the glitter that clearly!) I done them kind of like glitter tears underneath my eyes because that's like the festival trend at the minute!
I also tried the new festival trend which is the faux lip ring. I used eyelash glue and a gold Barry M glitter for the lip ring, was a bit sceptical about this look but thought i'd give it a go and I quite liked it!
Oversized denim jackets complete any festival outfit, this one I have on in the picture is actually the one I linked in my last post so if you want to know where it's from go have a look at my first blog post! I wore a bodysuit from Pretty Little Thing! (I was going to link it but I don't think it's available on their website anymore as I did buy it a couple months ago! However here is a link to all of their bodysuits because they're amazing and i get all of my bodysuits from them: PrettyLittleThing) I'm also wearing shorts from Topshop which again I don't think are available as I bought these about 4 years ago! (they have cute little pineapples printed all over them as well which you cant see in this picture!)

This was my face on day 2 (trying to hide the fact that I'm hungover and tired by covering myself in glitter, as you do) The glitter i used on my face here is actually holographic glitter which is usually used when i do nails, i just used some eyelash glue and a powder brush to apply this! You can buy this glitter on eBay, there's loads of different kinds of glitter you can get on eBay and they're so cheap too! For my eyes i done a similar look as the first day but i used my Naked palette by Urban Decay, and you can't really see but i put some glitter on my lips too (can never have too much glitter, i wanted to shine bright like a diamond hahah)
This was my outfit for day 2, if it was acceptable i would literally go out looking like this everyday! I'm wearing a bodychain which is from Accessorize!

I do have a couple more festivals that i'm going to this year so i will try my best to put more outfits and makeup looks up! For the meantime i hope you all have a fantastic summer and go to lots of festivals and gigs or go on holiday!
