POP OF RED
So I thought i'd do a makeup related post, i'll be doing a bit of a first impressions on one of the Morphe Brushes eyeshadow palettes as I've wanted to try them for ages! I'll also link at the bottom all of the makeup that I've used for this look. Enjoy!
As soon as it arrived I wanted to try it out, i'm not the only one that gets super exited about playing with new makeup right? I just couldn't wait so I took off the makeup I was already wearing and done this quick makeup look!
I'm loving warm red/orange tones at the minute, I usually go for browns and dark colours, and I usually do your typical smokey eye so I wanted to change it up a little bit and add some colour!
So I've been after a Morphe palette for so long and I finally got my hands on one!
I got the 35Om palette, which I absolutely love because it pretty much has everything that you need! It's completely matte, it has warm reds, oranges, neutral browns, which I think are the perfect colours for this summer! As soon as it arrived I wanted to try it out, i'm not the only one that gets super exited about playing with new makeup right? I just couldn't wait so I took off the makeup I was already wearing and done this quick makeup look!

So because I used red tones I thought i'd pair it with a red lipstick. I don't normally wear bright colours on my lips, i'm a sucker for a nude lipstick! I always go for nude lip colours, they just go with any look! I thought i'd add a pop of colour for this look as I wanted to try something different!
I actually love this lipstick i'm wearing, it's a matte liquid lipstick from The Body Shop. It stays on all day, I find I rarely have to top it up at all, and you only need a thin coat as the colour is so pigmented!
First impressions on the morphe palette is...amazing! I've absolutely fallen in love with it. The colours are super pigmented, and I didn't have any fall out! You only need a little bit on your brush as the colour pay off is insane! I would 10/10 recommend, I feel like this is going to be my go to palette this summer!
I went for my usual winged liner with cat eyes in the corner! The eyeliner i'm wearing is the Kat Von D tattoo liner, I swear by this eyeliner. It's a pen so its so easy to apply and doesn't smudge! It also does not move all day, like a tattoo does what it says on the tin! If you're looking for a long wearing black liquid eyeliner, I would 100% recommend this one!
I'm not meaning to sound vain or anything like that but I love my eyebrows at the minute! My eyebrows and I have always had a little bit of a love/hate relationship.
When I was in high school I majorly over plucked them, because thin eyebrows where in fashion a few years ago right girls? Big mistake. I look back at photos when I was 14/15 and cringe at the way I used to draw my eyebrows on. They where way too dark and I squared them off at the front, I know so awful!
When I was 17 I had them tattooed on, and at the time I absolutely loved them because it made them look a bit thicker! Over time, as trends change I've obviously changed the shape of my eyebrows, so I had to start concealing over the tattooed parts which was so annoying! Luckily they where semi permanent so they've mostly faded now, and I do still fill my eyebrows in but they've come a long way!
I use the makeup revolution brow pomade which is amazing, and only costs £6!?

I'm going to hopefully be doing a lot more makeup related posts as it's something I love to do! Literally when i'm bored and have nothing to do I just sit and play around with makeup, or watch makeup tutorials on youtube!
