PRIDE

Pride is a chance for you to celebrate and let your hair down. You can wear absolutely anything you want and no one will bat an eyelid. You can be so over the top and flamboyant, and just have so much fun! This weekend I went to London Pride and wanted to share my makeup.

I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to experiment a bit with glitter, so I created this sort of triangle affect on my eyes! I absolutely loved them and despite drinking for about 14 hours straight (how did I survive??) This makeup look lasted ALL day without a smudge. My absolute holy grail eyeshadow primer is an absolute steal at just £3!?
I've tried a lot of eye primers and my eyeshadow STILL creases. That is until I found this little bargain. It's a liquid eyeshadow primer from the brand makeup revolution, and is hands down the best thing ever. Your eyeshadow does not move, it survives an entire days work, a heavy night out drinking, ANYTHING!
Here's what is on my face..

                                                                 Eyeshadow: Morphe 35OM
                                                      Glitter: (eBay, can't link)
Liner: Kat Von D Tattoo Liner
                                                      Eyelashes: Eylure
                                                      Eyebrows: Makeup Revolution Brow Pomade
                                                      Foundation: Arbonne Perfecting Liquid Foundation
Eyeshadow Primer: Makeup Revolution Aqua Seal

                                                               Top: Missguided
Bralet: Ann Summers (can't link as currently out of stock)

Now I love glitter, any chance I get to cover myself in glitter I will (as you've seen if you've read my previous posts). Pride was the perfect opportunity, I covered my face in glitter, and my entire chest and legs! I was like a walking glitter ball. My makeup and glitter was so over the top so I kept it quite simple for my outfit (I didn't get a chance to take many pictures as I was drunk most of the weekend lol).

Close up of the glitter on my face, can never have too much right?? This glitter is from eBay, you can get so many different glitters on eBay and they are so cheap too! I own literally every single colour, but I love this colour as it shows up more and when it catches in the sunlight it looks amazing! Also funny story, I took this photo when I was pretty intoxicated hence why its not brilliant quality, however I liked how my makeup looked so thought I would include it haha!

Also this was taken much later in the evening and look how well my makeup has stayed? I'm telling you that eye primer is a god send!

Overall the weekend was so fun, the atmosphere was amazing as everyone was just so happy and having a great time! Pride is a time to celebrate and be surrounded by loving amazing people! I was lucky enough to spend Pride with my wonderful cousins! Anyone else who went to pride I hope you had an amazing time and I would recommend it to anyone thinking of going next year, it's just one massive party!

Little tip to anyone covering themselves in glitter for any upcoming festival or event they may have, put sun cream on. I made this mistake and when I washed off the glitter on my chest I was left with all little white marks where the sun was only exposed to the skin around it, oops! I can laugh about it now but at first I was mortified, not the tan lines I was hoping for!
Hope you guys liked this little post, have an amazing weekend my honeys!

Love Xen xo
